Q.Please tell us about when the Company was established, and when it was publicly listed.

A.The Company was established and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on the same day-October 1, 2010.

Q.What is a certified broadcast holding company?

A.A certified broadcast holding company is a company formed under a system permitted by the Revised Broadcast Law, which came into effect in April 2008. Under this system, we can own multiple terrestrial broadcast stations and one BS station as wholly owned subsidiaries. This group structure allows us to exercise more efficient management and achieve a stronger financial foundation.

Q.What kind of corporate governance initiatives are you involved in?

A.The TV TOKYO Group value our shareholders, our employees, our business partners, our viewers and all of our other stakeholders. Corporate governance is an important factor in improving long-term stable corporate value. We are engaged in various initiatives designed to maintain and improve corporate value. A.The TV TOKYO Group offer valuable, high-quality content through a collection of coordinated terrestrial, BS, CS, FM radio, Internet, and mobile media channels, pursuing our public mission as a media enterprise. In accomplishing this mission, we contribute to the better education, welfare, and culture of future generations, helping create a better life for the citizens of Japan.
